Since 2015-16, RQIA has undertaken a rolling programme of unannounced inspections of the quality of services in all acute hospitals in Northern Ireland. As part of this process, RQIA regularly use peer reviewers, who bring a wealth of experience and knowledge from across the health and social care sector.
By taking part in inspections, peer reviewers have had a chance to learn more about the way other health and social care organisations work while helping to improve the quality of services in Northern Ireland.
Recruitment for peer reviewers has now closed, however further opportunities may be available in the future. For further information on the role of peer reviewers, or to find out more about our inspections of acute hospitals in Northern Ireland, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
