Invitation to Apply for funding 2020-2021
RQIA invites you to apply for funding to undertake regional or local clinical and social care audit or a quality improvement project. All proposals must be in the context of supporting quality improvement within health and social care.

The closing dates for all applications will be Thursday 31 October 2019. Applications received after the closing date will not be accepted.
All audit applications MUST be supported by your Directorate Lead and Clinical Audit/Governance Department. It is expected that all applications will be worked up in conjunction with your clinical audit lead.
All quality improvement applications MUST be supported by your Directorate Lead and Trust Quality Improvement Lead. It is expected that all applications will be worked up in conjunction with your quality improvement lead.
It is anticipated that all funded audits and quality improvement prototypes will have a lifespan of 12 months (only with RQIA agreement will applications for more than 12 months be accepted).
Funding will be awarded on a case by case basis.
*Please note RQIA do not fund salaries and:
- Funding application for a regional audit should not exceed £12,000 all other audits should be budgeted according to scale.
- Funding application for Quality Improvement Prototype should not exceed £6,000
